This privacy statement applies to hemphi.com and Hemp Solutions HI services offered through our website, emails and mobile application (collectively the “Services“) that collects data and displays these terms. It does not apply to any of our services that do not display or link to this statement or that contains its own privacy statement. Visitors to and users of our Services are collectively referred to as “Users.” An individual User who creates an account to review product is a “Reviewer” with a “Reviewer Account” and a User who creates an account to list products for review is a “Dispensary” with a “Dispensary Account.”
Hemp Solutions Kauai, LLC doing business as Hemp Solutions HI (“Hemp Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy in a variety of ways including using industry accepted security measures to protect against loss, misuse and alteration of data contained in our systems. This Privacy Statement is designed to describe how we secure and maintain our Users’ personal information collected when using the Services which link to this Privacy Statement. Any information given to us will never be sold, rented, traded, shared or leased other than as outlined in this Privacy Statement.
ACCESS RESTRICTED TO PEOPLE OF LEGAL CANNABIS USE AGE
THE SERVICES ARE INTENDED ONLY FOR PERSONS OF LEGAL CANNABIS USE AGE BASED ON THE JURISDICTION WHERE SUCH CONTENT IS BEING ACCESSED OR VIEWED. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO VERIFY YOUR DATE OF BIRTH PRIOR TO ENTERING OR INTERACTING WITH A SERVICE.
WE DO NOT KNOWINGLY COLLECT INFORMATION FROM THOSE UNDER THE LEGAL HEMP OR CANNABIS USE AGE AND REQUEST THAT SUCH INDIVIDUALS DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION TO US OR ACCESS OUR SERVICES. IF YOU ARE UNDER THE LEGAL HEMP OR CANNABIS USE AGE IN YOUR JURISDICTION AND HAVE USED OUR SERVICES BY PROVIDING A FALSE DATE OF BIRTH, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY LEAVE CEASE USING THE SERVICES. IF YOU BELIEVE SOMEONE UNDER THE LEGAL HEMP OR CANNABIS USE AGE HAS PROVIDED US WITH INFORMATION BY OBTAINING ACCESS IN VIOLATION OF OUR ACCESS RESTRICTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY AND THIS INFORMATION WILL BE REMOVED.
COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION
We may gather and store various types of information about you in connection with your use of the Services. Some of this information is provided directly by you and other information may be gathered by observing how you interact with our Services. We use this information to personalize and improve our Services, to provide the Service’s functionality, to allow you to set up a user account and profile, to contact you, to fulfill your requests for certain Services, to analyze how you utilize our Services, to provide feedback to third party Dispensaries that are identified in the Services, and, when necessary, to comply with legal obligations.
Information Provided by You
We receive and store any information provided directly by you. For example, if you set up a Reviewer Account, we collect personal information via Web forms such as name, email address, and birthdate. If you set up a Dispensary Account, we collect personal information such as Dispensary contact name and email address. While you can choose not to provide certain information to us, please know that this may result in our being unable to register you as a Reviewer or Dispensary and you may not be able to take advantage of some of our Services.
For Reviewer Accounts, limited information may be displayed with a review such as a user profile name (chosen by you), a profile picture if you uploaded one, and “about me” information you choose to provide.
To remove or update any personal information, please log into your account settings and remove or modify your personal information in the appropriate fields.
If you believe that someone has created an unauthorized account depicting you or your likeness, you can request its removal by contacting us at contact@hskauai.com.
Information Collected Automatically from You
Whenever you interact with our Services, we automatically receive and record certain information. This information may include server logs from your browser including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, “cookie” information, and the page you requested. We store this information in log files and do not link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.
Technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by us and our partners, affiliates, analytics or service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering our Website, tracking users’ movements around our Website and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis. “Cookies” are small text files stored on a user’s computer or mobile device that allow us to recognize your browser or mobile device and tell us how and when pages on our Website are visited and by how many people. Also, if you click on a link to a third-party website (for example a listed Dispensary or sharing on social media sites), such third party may also transmit cookies to you. This Statement does not cover the use of cookies by any third parties.
PUBLIC CONTENT
If you chose to contribute the Services, please note that any information you chose to share will be viewable by the public, including your uploaded photos, videos, comments, testimonials, ratings, reviews, product descriptions, effects and purchase location, user name (chosen by you), and profile picture.
If you choose to comment on our blog, you may be required to login to our third-party vendor’s site to do so. Any information you choose to submit within this section of the site will be collected and used by our vendor and is subject to their privacy policy. Please contact them directly should you have any questions or concerns regarding your posting.
Please be mindful of the information you share in our community as other users may be able to identify you or associate you with your account if you include personal information in the content you post publicly. If you are concerned about being identified, please do not disclose identifying information.
ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION
Upon request, we will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third party, any of your personal information. To make a request please contact us at contact@hskauai.com with “Personal Information Request” in the subject line and provide us with full details in relation to your request, including your contact information and any other detail you feel is relevant.
Upon request by mail or e-mail (to the addresses noted below in the Contact Information section), we will grant individuals reasonable access to personal information that it holds about them, unless otherwise legally unable to do so. In addition, we will take reasonable steps to permit individuals to correct, amend, or delete information that is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete. We will provide a response to an access request within 30 days of receiving such request.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
SECURE COMMUNICATIONS
We will take reasonable precautions to protect personal information in its possession from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Our Services may include links to third party services (like a Dispensary’s URL) whose privacy practices may differ from ours. If you interact with those Web sites, your personal information may be collected by the third party. Your information is governed by their privacy statements. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy statement of any Web site you visit.
SOCIAL MEDIA FEATURES & WIDGETS
Our Services include Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT TERMINATION
You can close your Reviewer account by contacting us at contact@hskauai.com . We will dissociate certain public content from your account profile, but we may retain information about you for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Statement unless prohibited by law. For example, we may retain information to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Services or to comply with legal obligations. Please note that Dispensaries cannot remove their Dispensary Account listings, ratings, or reviews by closing their accounts.
TERMS
No company other than Hemp Solutions HI is allowed to access information stored on our servers, unless expressly authorized by us. Unauthorized access to this information is a violation of the law. We have placed security measures and firewalls on all network servers in an attempt to prevent outside parties from accessing private information. In the event of a breach of security, we will press charges to the fullest extent possible against those parties illegally accessing information on our servers.
LEGAL DISCLOSURES
In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We reserve the right to disclose your personal data as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us.
BUSINESS TRANSFER
In the event we go through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personal data will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via prominent notice on our Services for 30 days of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
